Join us on Saturday, July 25th from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm for our 2nd Annual Community Block Party event. This year’s event is entitled Bros & Bows Back to School Bash. Let’s head back to school with MCFAPA!
As a non-profit organization, MCFAPA must rely on fundraising events in order to fund our events as well as to be able to provide much-needed resources for the families of Madison County. The Bros & Bows Back to School Bash is a community event bringing awareness to foster care, kinship care & adoption as well as providing much needed hair care resources for our families. MCFAPA will also be able to giveaway backpacks filled with school supplies as we celebrate the new school year as well as other items.
This event is supported by sponsorship’s and contributions from our community and YOU can be a huge part of our success. Please consider participating in one of the following ways:
Platinum Presenting Sponsor / $5,000 – As a Presenting Sponsor, you will be one of three (3) primary sponsors of the event. In addition to having portions of the event named in your honor, your company will have an individual banner at the event and a table to display information about your company. Your company will also be mentioned on television/radio/print/social media marketing ads, interviews, and a link to your company will be placed on the MCFAPA website. Your Logo will be placed prominently on event t-shirts, contingent on demand. Lastly, your contribution would make it possible for our organization to host a Birthday Party Celebration for children in care throughout Madison County.
Gold Supporting Sponsor / $2,500 – As a Supporting sponsor, your company name/logo will appear in print/social media marketing ads, logo on banner at the event as well as linked to your website on the MCFAPA website. You will also be provided a table to display information about your company. Your Logo will also be placed on event t-shirts, contingent on demand. This contribution would make it possible for our organization to plan and provide Foster Parent Night Out events throughout the upcoming year.
Silver Signature Sponsor / $1,000 – As a Signature sponsor, your company name/logo will appear in print/social media marketing ads, logo on small banner at the event as well as on the MCFAPA website. Your Logo will also be placed on event t-shirts, contingent on demand. This contribution would make it possible for our organization to provide 20 KICK (Kids in Care Kit) Bags for children with specific needs in foster or kinship care.
Bronze Sponsor / $500 – As a Bronze sponsor, your company name will appear on our social media pages and company name listed at the event as well as on our website. Your company name will also be placed on event t-shirts, contingent on demand. This contribution would make it possible for our organization to provide around 15 KICK (Kids in Care Kit) Bags for children in foster and kinship care.

Vendor Booth / $75 – Each vendor spot is limited to a 6’ x 6’’ space. This includes 1 table & 2 chairs. Please let us know if you need power. You are responsible for bringing your own extension cords. Vendor booths are limited to resources for families, especially health-related, or those businesses related to foster care, adoption, or kinship care. There will be no more than 35 vendor booths for this event. Reserve your booth & pay here.
If your business is unable to contribute with a sponsorship, please consider in-kind donations, volunteers for the event, or items for our giveaways and silent auction. MCFAPA relies on community partners to ensure our success in bringing about positive change for the children in our community.
The Madison County Foster & Adoptive Parent Association is a nonprofit organization (Federal Tax ID #63-1052729) under Chapter Membership with the Alabama Foster & Adoptive Parent Association. MCFAPA exists to improve the quality of life for children involved in foster and kinship care as well as adoption. MCFAPA contributes to our community by:
- Promoting community awareness for foster and kinship care & adoption
- Advocating for foster, adoptive, and kinship care families
- Educating through monthly trainings and parent support groups
- Effectively communicating important information from DHR to our families
- Supporting the families we serve by providing tangible resources such as KICK (Kids in Care Kit) Bags for children coming into care as well as free items through The MCFAPA Exchange for current families
As a Chapter member of AFAPA, MCFAPA keeps 90% of any tax-deductible donations to help improve the lives of Madison County families while AFAPA designates 10% into a statewide scholarship fund.
