Brandon Bishop
President

Brandon is the bio dad of three, foster dad to two, & human to two dogs. He & his wife, Trina, have been foster parents for 9+ years now. During that time, fostering nearly 30 children anywhere from 4 days to 4 years. They consider fostering to be part of their ministry, pouring into the lives of the children in their care but also becoming a resource & "family" for birth parents throughout the process.

Currently, he is Director & Consultant for Bear Cognition, a data analytics firm but worked in the logistics industry for 13+ years. Brandon has served on the MCFAPA Board for 5+ years now and loves the positive changes they are making locally. He is also a Regional Representative for our state association, AFAPA, and continues to do our marketing, including website & social media.

Edie Lowhorne
Vice President

Edie is our Kinship guru. She and her husband Keith "came out of retirement" when they adopted their 2 grandchildren. Edie is passionate about serving Grandfamilies and Kinship Caregivers, many of whom have no support and are living on little fixed income. She assists with GAP (Grandparents as Parents) through AFAPA and supports this segment through tangible resources like clothing and food assistance as well as heading up our Christmas for Kin initiatives.

Kristy Marks-Bryant

Kristy is the Marketing Director and Assistant Administrator for The Madison Village, a retirement & assisted-living facility in Madison, AL. She has been fostering for years and is a proud adoptive mom of two. She is our networking and marketing guru and also serves with AFAPA as a Regional Representative.

Rachel Tanis

Rachel and her husband, Brian, have been foster parents for 5 years now. Rachel is a Senior Project Engineer for Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, AL

Kerri Riley

Kerri has been an attorney in the Huntsville area since 1984. A graduate of Lee High School, shehas lived in Huntsville most of her life.  After earning a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama, she went on to earn her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree at the University of Alabama School of Law.  Having raised three children here, her commitment to her community runs deep.  In addition to years of service on community boards and to charitable organizations, Mrs. Riley has helped inform countless employees of their legal rights through her involvement with the People’s Law School.

Holly Clark – Holly manages our MCFAPA Clothing & Equipment Exchange Group & coordinates local partnerships, volunteer sorters, and pickups.

Melissa Parry – Melissa volunteers at The Den at DHR and assists with keeping it adequately stocked.
