Monthly Meetings

*NOTICE* As of April 2020, MCFAPA will not be holding in-person meetings due to COVID-19. For now, MCFAPA will hold meetings via ZOOM. Meeting links will be sent out via REMIND Messaging service. Please contact us if you are not on our REMIND list. We hope to begin in-person once we can safely do so.

 

MCFAPA understands the importance of ongoing education as well as relationships. This is why we offer monthly training & support group meetings each month hosted at The Rock Family Worship Center – Huntsville Campus, in Huntsville, Alabama. We know that being around other foster, adoptive, & kinship families is the best way to build and strengthen your support system. We are the “village.”

MCFAPA 1st Monday                   1st Thursday Training

What? Monthly training for families (1.5 CEUs available to foster families)

When? 1st Thursday of each month from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm (reschedules can happen due to holidays, breaks, etc). *ONLINE Meetings occur at 7:00 pm or 7:30pm and last 1 hour.* 

Where? The Rock Family Worship Center – Butler Campus in the Servant Leader Room (walk-through video below).

Other info: RSVP is required. Childcare & dinner are included via RSVP (Sign Up Genius). Donations are welcomed day of meeting or via PayPal to help cover food costs.

Other Info: Childcare is included via RSVP (Sign Up Genius). Donation of $3-$4 per child is suggested, but not required, to help cover costs for qualified & vetted childcare workers.
