MCFAPA exists with your support. Through supporting memberships, we are able to support local foster, adoptive, & kinship families… and guess what? Anyone can be a member!
Regular Membership into the Madison County Foster & Adoptive Parent Association (MCFAPA) is available to all foster parents licensed by the State of Alabama, kinship parents, as well as adoptive parents residing in Madison County Alabama.
“Friend of MCFAPA” membership is available to individuals and/or organizations wishing to support the purposes and efforts of MCFAPA. This is a great way to help indirectly if you cannot become a foster or adoptive parent.
A few benefits of membership include being able to attend business meetings as well as receiving information about attending activities and events of the association. “Friends of MCFAPA” do not have voting rights in the association. Both memberships are obtained by submitting an application below and paying established dues.

All dues help support the needs of MCFAPA as well as the local foster, adoptive, & kinship families we serve. These funds help us plan more events and provide more tangible resources to the families we serve here locally. Attending monthly meetings, participation in MCFAPA events, and receiving MCFAPA support does not necessarily require paid membership, however, in order to serve on the Board of Directors or have voting privileges, you must be a member in good standing with paid dues.
*MCFAPA is a Chapter Member of the Alabama Foster & Adoptive Parent Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. MCFAPA receives 90% of all tax-deductible funds received locally & AFAPA receives 10% to be directed to our statewide scholarship fund.
