We will not have our regularly scheduled 1st Thursday Zoom meeting this month so we can all prepare for SCHOOL. However, we will have our MCFAPA Crossroads Support Group on the 3rd Thursday (8/20/20 @ 7 PM) to share what may or may not work so well as we navigate Remote Learning together! Bring your tips, tricks, etc! More info, coming soon.
Request membership for Crossroads Support FB page under Local Resources found here.

About The SpOT Clinic: Aline White is a licensed and registered occupational therapist who works at the SpOT Clinic, an outpatient pediatric clinic in Hampton Cove that provides occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy services. Since high school, Aline knew she wanted to pursue a career providing pediatric occupational therapy services. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from Auburn University, where she graduated as College of Education Student Marshal. Aline continued her education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where, in 2019, she graduated with honors with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. It is a tenet of Aline’s professional mission to provide occupational therapy services that consider all aspects of the individual’s occupational performance, including the person, their functional environments, and all valued and necessary occupations in which the individual wants or needs to participate.
Yesterday, members of the MCFAPA Board of Directors were able to present Pastor Chris Mitchell with the Huntsville Dream Center & The Rock Family Worship Center (Huntsville Campus) with a digital “check” for $500 that was raised during our latest membership drive. We wanted to give back to those that have done so much for our community during the last 8+ weeks. This money will be used for them to continue serving our community through their COVID-19 Relief fund.
Thank you to all of those that participated through membership and donations during this time. Your support means more than it ever has now, especially for the families that we serve.
