Remaining Events for 2025

We are halfway through the year and we wanted you to be aware of our remaining events for 2025! For all regular MCFAPA meetings, please visit our Facebook page under Events to RSVP. Free dinner & childcare is provided to those that RSVP prior to cutoff (usually 2 days before the event).

We will not have a regular meeting in October due to our 7th Annual Bros, Bows, & Boos Fall Fest, however, 1 CEU is available to those that attend and sign in. Also, in December, we will have our Christmas Party at Stars & Strikes rather than a regular meeting. Please note, no CEUs are available for December.

Mentoring Program for Teens

ATTENTION FOSTER PARENTS:

Are you looking for extra support and guidance for your teen (ages 14–21)? Fostering Roots Foundation has a dedicated team of dependable, DHR-background-checked volunteers ready to mentor and empower your teenager.

At its heart, mentorship ensures that young people always have someone who cares about them, shows them they are not alone in facing daily challenges, and helps reinforce core values. By pairing teens with caring adult mentors, we help them build confidence, learn new skills, and grow into successful young adults.

If you’d like to connect your teen with one of our mentors, please email shannon.withrow@fosterroots.org or karen.allen@fosterroots.org. Teens do not need to be associated with DHR to participate in this program. FRF looks forward to supporting your family!
