MCFAPA understands the importance of ongoing education as well as relationships. This is why we offer monthly training & support group meetings each month hosted. Starting April 2024, our meetings will be held at Central Church of Christ in Downtown Huntsville. Being around other foster, adoptive, & kinship families is the best way to build & strengthen your support system. We are the “village.”
PARKING/ENTRANCE: There is plenty of parking around the church but the closet parking is near the back by the gym. Additional parking is across the street from the church as well.
MCFAPA Monthly Meetings
What? Monthly training & support for families (1.5 CE training hours available to foster families)
When? 2nd Thursday of each month from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm (reschedules can happen due to holidays, breaks, etc). *If online, meetings occur at 7:00 pm & last 1 hour.*

Other info: RSVP is required for free childcare & dinner and closes the Monday before our meetings. Check the Facebook Event Page for more info. Donations are welcomed the day of meeting or via PayPal to help cover costs.
