Yesterday, members of the MCFAPA Board of Directors were able to present Pastor Chris Mitchell with the Huntsville Dream Center & The Rock Family Worship Center (Huntsville Campus) with a digital “check” for $500 that was raised during our latest membership drive. We wanted to give back to those that have done so much for our community during the last 8+ weeks. This money will be used for them to continue serving our community through their COVID-19 Relief fund.
Thank you to all of those that participated through membership and donations during this time. Your support means more than it ever has now, especially for the families that we serve.
Join us tomorrow, May 7th at 7 pm as we have Willie F. Diggs II, LBSW, MSW come speak to MCFAPA families about how to communicate with at-risk youth.

Over the last few weeks, our wonderful partner The Rock Family Worship Center has blessed over 300 individuals that MCFAPA serves with hot meals 3 days a week. These include foster families, adoptive parents, & Grand-families (Grandparents raising their grandkids).
Over the next few weeks, your support of MCFAPA can help continue to support these families even more. MCFAPA will donate $10 of every individual membership & $15 of each family membership back to The Rock’s Covid-19 Relief Fund. If you already support MCFAPA through membership, 20% of any donations received via https://mcfapa.life will go into the same fund.
We also have an anonymous donor that will match the first $250 too! From the families receiving food, support, groceries, etc – we thank you, Madison County! During the time, your support means even more to your neighbors.
For our April 16th MCFAPA Crossroads virtual meeting, our topic is “Disrupting a Foster Placement.” This is not an easy topic but one that most foster parents will face at least once in their foster care journey. The question may not necessarily be “What if?” but rather “When?”
Have questions beforehand? Just shoot us a message so that we can prepare! Those in attendance will receive 1 CEU.
Password protected Zoom link will be sent to those signed up for our Remind messages/texts. If you have not joined Remind yet, please let us know.
